Scrap Corner

In my old apartment I had my scrap corner in my room and even though it was small it serve its purpose and I had everything at reach and it was guarded from other hands and paws. Like two months ago we move to a new apartment and this bedroom it's smaller so I can't have my scrap corner in it. I decided to set up camp on the living room and it's been a bitter-sweet experience. Let me explain why with a simple Pros and Cons list;

The pros: 1. Now I can be scrapbooking and doing my projects near the kitchen (for the days I spend cooking - not a lot), 2. I can interact more with the family and 3. I can supervise what my 10 months old Pitt is doing (...). The Cons: 1. For me (I'm a neat freak) it always look messy (see photos below)

2. When I receive visits or have family over I have to always be in the look out for small kids, 3. On top of the kids I have to be carefull with Chloe 'cause she likes to chew on anything and everything!! and 4. I haven't found a spot for my pegboard which I made myself last year...and btw it was a lot of help with the organization 'cause I had all my stickers, scissors, adhesive, etc. there and now they're all over the place.
I'm trying to find an armoire or a tall storage unit with doors that I can use on the other side of that back wall in the dining room for storage. Any ideas???
